We make 8 mouth-watering flavours of jerky here at Dolly’s Jerky. We have 2 Marinades, Honey Soy and Teriyaki and 6 delicious rubs, which are Smokey Tennessee, Zesty Lemon & Garlic and Californian Lime. Our rubs start to increase in spice and start to really tantalise your taste buds and will leave a sting in your mouth with our Flaming Texas, Chipotle and our all-famous Outback Habanero. These are definitely not for the faint hearted and only the brave.

We are a husband-and-wife business from outback Cobar, NSW. We have been in the business for quite a few years and have perfected our craft, we have a great range of fine jerky for everyone’ s pallet, and some not for the faint hearted.
We have made a great relationship with our customers by having one on one conversations and interactions with our customers, that in turn has given us great reviews and recommendations from our customers.
We started off making jerky for friends and family, and the response was that we should be sharing our jerky with the rest of the world, which we did via, through Facebook to start with, and as the business grew and grew to proportions that we could have never imagined. Our business grew exponentially, we then obtained a webpage which in turn grew our business once again.

Beef jerky has its distant origins in the mountains of Peru, but today is a globally recognised product, extremely popular as a lightweight and nutritious snack. Developed as means to preserve beef, jerky in its simplest form is strips of beef that have been dehydrated and had salt added to ensure that it can be stored for long periods without degrading.
Today jerky comes in many forms, some with little resemblance to the original product; mass produced jerky is often produced from chopped scraps of meat that are then formed to resemble jerky, and to appeal to more sweet tastes can have many additives such as brown sugar.
Here at Dolly’s Jerky however, we produce a range of hand-made Australian beef jerky that are only made from high quality cuts of Australian grass and grain fed cattle and are low in fat and sugars. Our healthy beef jerky is high in protein, more so than regular beef, and because it is lightweight and easy to carry around it is a popular option for those that require sustenance on the go, such as hikers and backpackers. But beyond this, Dolly’s Jerky have put together a selection of flavoured jerky that takes inspiration from flavours around the world such as Teriyaki Beef Jerky, Chipotle Chilli Beef Jerky, Flaming Texas Beef Jerky and Outback Habanero Beef Jerky that are all the rage in all situations. We also have Chilli Lime, Honey Soy and Lemon & Garlic.
The eight flavours that we produce, range from the mild to the super spicy; two mild versions, Teriyaki Mild and Honey Soy are marinated beef jerky with distinctive flavours added by 48 hours of marination. Teriyaki Mild has the taste of Japan, with sherry, ginger, garlic and sesame oil coming together to create the recognisable teriyaki flavour, whilst the combination of soy, honey and garlic is instantly recognisable as a wonderful taste of Asia.
For the rest of our range, the outstanding taste sensations are created through the use of combinations of spices added in a rub, resulting in some fiery results that will certainly be more popular with some than others! Our Chipotle Chilli and Habanero beef jerky are definitely for those looking for an extra kick of spicy heat, whilst those with a more sensitive palate may appreciate the flavours of our Smokey Tennessee Medium Flavour or Zesty Lemon and Garlic samples.
